Yes. Six questions produce a usable reading. The photo sharpens the surface measures — evenness, redness and texture — that questions can only guess at.
Buy a different one. The reading is a recommendation, not a lock — once you have scanned, all fourteen are open to you.
No. Every product is a cosmetic available without a prescription. No retinoids, no hydroquinone, no compounded actives. Where a formula needs retinol-like results, it uses bakuchiol.
Hydration and barrier move first, usually inside three weeks. Evenness and firmness are the slow ones — judge those at the ninety-day re-scan, not before.
